How to automatically remove duplicate tracks from Xbox Music?
Users can finally upload their personal music library on OneDrive and stream it using the Xbox Music apps on Windows and Windows Phone. However, doing so may result in duplicates, particularly if you already have music stored locally on your device or if you have an Xbox Music Pass. The good news is that Microsoft makes it easy to remove duplicates, and here’s how:

  • Start the Xbox Music app on your Windows 8.1 device

  • Bring out the Charms bar and hit ‘Settings’

  • Click ‘Preferences’

  • Toggle ‘Automatically clean up duplicate tracks’
Microsoft warns however that if you use Xbox Music on Android or iOS, you should not turn this feature on, an explanation hasn’t been presented yet. Will you be streaming your music from OneDrive now that Microsoft has enabled the feature? Let us know in the comments below.
