What is PAN India MNP ?
With Pan India MNP you can retain your mobile number even if you are required to change your circle or the operator. You can even change from prepaid to postpaid and vice versa.
Who can Avail National MNP facility ?
Any Mobile subscriber whether GSM or CDMA ; Prepaid or Postpaid can switch their operator. To avoid failure go through th eligibility criteria as follows:
How to Port You Number ?
The process for national portability remains the same as earlier. For your information the steps are described:
--> Send a SMS from the no. you want to port as PORT to 1900. Note down the UPC code received. It will be valid for 15 days.
--> Visit the nearest customer service centre of the operator you want t shift to with UPC Number and fill a service registration form and pay the porting fee (if applicable to the operator which is fixed as Rs.19 max. by government). The user need to submit the address proof, photo id proof and photo.
--> The service centre will issue a blank SIM to the user. Within a day customer receives a message confirming port while complete process may take upto 7 days.

- The request to port should be made after at least 90 days from activation date of SIM or from last porting process.
