And you've probably wondered about whether there are any decent versions that can be played on a modern PC. If you've just started wondering whether such a thing exists, the answer is that it does. And it's free. And it's actually quite good fun to play. The game is called Pacapong and it's a 5 MB download from http://kingpenguin.itch.io/pacapong. The program is malware-free according to VirusTotal and Web of Trust, and the main web page shows instructions as well as a helpful video. The program consists of a single file, which is portable.
