WW FIRMWARE TO TW WITHOUT ROOTING CONVERT - paramjeet - 06-07-2015 How to convert WW firmware to TW without rooting Earlier the beta version of the lollipop update was leaked which was TW (Taiwanese) version and only TW users can intstall it on their devices. For WW( Worldwide) users they have to convert here devices first into TW version to install the beta lollipop upgrade. Here's the guide how to convert it.  ---DO AT YOUR OWN RISK--- Downloads (Assuming you have adb drivers and tools installed) Latest TW firmware for Zenfone 5 Here Step 1:- Extract fastboot.img and recovery.img from the zip file Step 2: Copy these files to adb folder. Now connect your phone. Step 3:- Now open command view on this folder (Shift +Right mouse button)               Now write in the command window adb reboot fastboot. Step 4: - Now write in the command window fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img Step 5:- After completion again write in the command windows fastboot flash recovery recovery.img Step 6:- After completion reboot your phone. Step 7: Now rename the TW part  from the file to WW i.e. from " UL-ASUS_T00F-TW-2.21.40.44-user.zip" to " UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.21.40.44-user.zip" Step 8: Copy the ROM to Phone internal storage now it will show a phone upgrade available now upgrade your phone.
