How to Create a .nomedia File on Android Device - Red - 09-10-2015
i. Using ES File Explorer
1.On your Android, install and launch the ES File Explorer app.
2.Use the ES File Explorer to browse the folder that you would like to have the .nomedia file.
3.Next
tap the menu button and then select New.
4.Select File and then enter file name .nomedia
5.Press Ok and that’s it.
ii. Using Windows PC
1.On your PC, launch the Notepad software.
2.Now
go to File>Save.
3.Enter .nomedia for the file name and select All Files for Save as type.
4.Connect your Android phone to the PC using the USB data cable.
5.Using the Windows Explorer, copy the .nomedia file from your PC to the folder that you want stop the media scanning.
