Android lollipop cm12 update is now started to roll out. YUREKA LOLLIPOP OTA UPDATE
Best recommended way to update any android device is by their ota (on the air). This official update will be available to all the users within a week. For users told us that they already have got this major update while other's reported they have. So wait and soon you'll get it for sure. To check that whether lollipop update is available for you or not, go to Phone settings - About - System Updates. You'll get to see in screen that whether you've got or not. Not everybody can wait. What if you want it immediately on your YUREKA device? Let me tell you what we'll do here. We have to download the lollipop official ota update file after that we will flash it to yureka through recovery and yeah its totally safe and best part is that the warranty won't be voided. No data loss will happen while updating but still wet highly recommend you to make proper backup of your data. Your data is precious, won't be lost. Don't worry if your device is not rooted you don't even need that. Below is the exact stepwise step procedure to update. First of all we have to download yureka lollipop CM 12 zip file update. File name is: cm-12.0-YNG1TAS0W0-tomato-signed.zip. It's a major update so file is big in size. Do check your internal memory and free it of its not. Size of lollipop update is (646MB). Download zip ota file from below direct link.
Now after download above zip file successfully, nice it to /download folder of your Phone Memory. Is time to switch of your yu yureka. Boot it into recovery mode by pressing and keep on holding Volume Up + Volume Down + Power
Button simultaneously.
Now someone cache and select Apply Update > Choose from internal storage > 0/ > Download and select the CM 12 zip (cm-12.0-YNG1TAS0W0-tomato-signed.zip) that we have just downloaded in above steps. Flashing process will get finished after few minutes then select Reboot system now and wait for a while. Initial boot will take more time than usual so keep patience. And finally lollipop is in your Yureka's Screen. Use it and enjoy.
