1. Navigate to your profileby tapping your name at the top right.
2. Scroll down to your Friendssection at the leftand click to open it.
3. Search for the offending frenemy.
4. Hold your cursor over that person's name.
5. Hover over Friends in the balloon that appears. This will bring up a dropdown menu.
6. Click Report/Block from the dropdown menu.
7. Select Unfriend. You can also clickBlock orUnfollowon this pop-up, depending on your preference. Unfriending a person will remove him or her from your friends list and he or she won't be able to post on your timeline or see anything that's not public. If you want to un-do this, you'll have to go about sending a new friend request. Sadly this will telegraph to them that you had unfriended them.
If you block someone, you won't be able to seeany hint of them, including comments your ex-friend makes on other people's activity. But it's easy to unblock them quickly if you regret your decision. You can Unfollow a person to stop seeing updates from them without completely cutting them out of your digital life.
8. Click Confirm > Okay.
NOTE: You can hide individual posts from a person from within the news feed. Simply click on the top right corner of any status update. Then click Hide.
(ii) How to Block Someone on Google Plus
1. Sign into Google+.
2. Pull up the offending person's profile.
3. Click the arrow below their name.
4. Hit Mute (Person's Name). When you Mute a person, you stop seeing notifications when he or she +1 mentions you or shares a post with you.
5. Select Mute on the confirmation screen that appears.
If silencing the person is not enough, you might want to block the person altogether and stop seeing his or her content in your stream. Blocking also prevents the person from commenting on your content, but the person will still be able to view your public posts.
6. Click Report/Block (Person's Name)from the dropdown menu in step 4 above.
7. Check the box for Block (Person's Name)in the options that appear. If you want, you can remove the offender from your circles altogether.
8. Add a reason to report this person's profile if you found it offensive. Otherwise,hit Done.
(iii) How to Block Someone on Gmail
1. Log into your Gmail account.
2. Pull up an email from the offending sender.If your inbox is flooded with messages, just search for that person's name in the box at thetop.
3. Hit the down arrowto the far right of the sender's name.
4. Click "Filter messages like this" from the listthat drops down.
5. Fill in the criteria for messages you'd like to stop receiving. To block all messages from this person, just enter his or her email addressinto the From field.
6. Click "Create filter with this search."
7. Select Delete Itto trash all mail that matches criteria in step 5.
8. Click Create Filter.If you want to remove all existing messages from that person, check the box next to the blue button that says, "Also apply filter to X matching conversations."
