Step 1: Download and install Framaroot Application on your Xolo Q1010i . Once installation is completed you will be able to see the Framaroot Icon in the App Menu.

Step 2: Now, Tap on the Framaroot App Icon to Open it.

Step 3: Once Framaroot Application is launched you will be able to see 3 options
i.e Boromir and Faramir, Barahir.Tap on the Barahir Option.

Step 4: Now, you will be able to see the Framaroot success Message on the Phone Screen.

Step 5: Now, you have to restart your Device.

Step 5.1: Now your Xolo Q1010i is Rooted. To check whether your phone is rooted correctly, open Applications Menu, there you will be able to see a new app installed, called SuperSU. If this app exist then it means you have successfully rooted your device.

Raman bro After searching on lot of forums I found a working method to root our Xolo Q1010i kitkat version

Root Xolo Q1010i Using Kingroot Android App

1.Download and install KingMaster, Kingroot and Kinguser android application from official website. The website in Chinese language, but you can easily download using blue download buttons.

2.Open Kingroot android app and click on green round button. Your device may restart.

3.Now open KingMaster application from app drawer, you will get a pulldown window! Click on root now button.
After few minutes KingMaster will root your Xolo Q1010i with KitKat update.

Root Xolo Q1010i By Downgrading to Jellybean (Easy method)

1. you upgraded your Xolo Q1010i to KitKat, downgrade it to Jellybean by following this guide:

3.Open the app and select SuperSU from drop Down menu

4.Press Boromir , If it says Success then Reboot. Else Try Again. Congrats, You’ve Successfully Rooted you Xolo Q1010i.

Rooting Instructions
*.Download and extract all files. Place all Downloaded Files in the same Place for Easy Access. I recommend you to turn off you antivirus to avoid permission related issues.

*.Install The MTK USB Drivers on Your PC by Clicking on Install.bat in Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00 folder.

*.Open SP Flash Tools folder and click on flash_tool.exe. In The Flash Tool window Click on Scatter-Loading, Select MT6582_Android_scatter_emmc.txt and Press Open.

*.In Flash Tool Window Tick RECOVERY and Click on the Blank Green Space Beside It and select Carliv_q1010i_chiragjn.img.

Paras bro I think it is not possible to root your phone without unlocking bootloader, as you need to install super su at system level, to do this you need to sideload super su apk which is not possible with a locked boot loader.

*.Now your device is unlocked.

2: Rooting

*.Put your device in bootloader mode and copy SuperSU.zip in the SD Card.

*.Now to root the device, follow thebelow steps:

Download the APK and install it (you will likely be prompted with a security warning that the app is dangerous). Hit the ‘make it ra1n’ button to gain root and then install the SuperSU app from the Play store. It’s easy, quick and doesn’t even require a reboot!

Problem: Phone Isn’t Supported by TowelRoot

Fix:
1: Open the Towelroot application and tap “Welcome to Towelroot v3? three times.

2. This will open a box under “make it ra1n button.

3. Now, type one of the following codes.
Code 1: 1337 0 1 0 4 0 (standard, works on most phones)
Code 2: 1337 0 1 7380 4 0 (for Samsung Galaxy devices)
Code 3: 1337 0 1 0 4 1 (universal, but give temporary root access only)

4. The first code is standard and it should work for most of the devices. Type the first number and then press the root button.

5. If it is a Samsung Galaxy device, the first code may not work, so try the second number. It should work almost all new Galaxy devices.

6. The third code is universal. It can root any lates Android device but it is a temporary root. So you will lose root accesswhen you reboot your phone again.
